Summer! Come On! Where Are You?

Why does summer seem so close... yet SO FAR AWAY?! I want it to be here NOW! Not that I haven't liked school, but my brain is fried and sizzled and such. Beach days will be here soon! Ahhh :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

To anyone who's reading this, Happy Thanksgiving! I spent the day in Belleville at my cousins' house. We had a great meal and went on a walk. We watched some TV and I rode a bike. We also went down to a gas station and bought a lottery ticket for my cousin Sarah. Let's hope she wins!
What did you guys do today? I hope y'all got to be with friends and family and remembered to eat lots of turkey! My family's watching the UT vs. A&M football game. Gig 'em, Aggies! Sadly, they might not win. :(

School Life... So Far

It's been a good year here at VCA. The seventh grade class won the awards for best chili and best theme (I think) at the Chili Cookoff, which I had to miss. The praise team sang, too. I've been keeping my grades up and have been making new friends. Not much has been happening in the classes. We're studying the Second Continental Congress in U.S. History 1, Kingdom Protista in science, demonstrative adjectives in Spanish, subjects and verbs in grammar/vocab., the Order of Evaluation in logic, fractions in Pre-Algebra, etc. I probably just bored you. Haha sorry. I do that a lot without meaning to.
If you're a VCA student, let me know how you're enjoying the school year. At least, I hope you are. If not... I don't know, just do whatever you like. ;)

First Blog Post

Hi! Even though the first day of school has been long gone, I decided to write a blog about my first school year! I'm having a great time here. All the friends I've made are cool, the teachers are nice, and a bunch of other things are MUCH better than they were at River Oaks Baptist School (ROBS - I might refer to it a lot in this blog).
Today's free dress day. On Tuesday, if you had a Veritas bumper sticker, you got a free dress pass for today. I'm wearing jeans, Uggs, a navy Juicy jacket, and a U of M shirt. The high today is 68 degrees and the low is 39 degrees. Woohoo! I love the chilliness!
